About the multiplication chart 1–15

Once the 1–12 facts are solid, a 1–15 chart is the natural next step: it keeps the familiar layout but extends into the teens, covering 13, 14 and 15 times tables that turn up constantly in mental math, area problems and fraction work. The shaded diagonal still tracks the square numbers (169, 196, 225 at the far corner), and the symmetry either side of it still applies.
